SREL (Sustainable and Renewable Energy Limited), is a Bangladeshi registered company providing renewable energy solutions. The primary focus is on solar energy for small, mid and large scale deployments.
SREL is a leading solar renewable energy EPC company in Bangladesh. Our mission is to drive Bangladesh towards energy independence by providing turnkey engineering, procurement, and consulting services for solar energy projects. We are committed to leveraging the latest technologies and expertise in solar energy and collaborating with local stakeholders, government bodies, and international organizations to create a supportive policy and regulatory environment for renewable energy. In addition to our solar energy services, SREL is also working on providing Lithium-Ion based industrial energy storage solutions ranging from 50KWh to 2MWh. Our cutting-edge technology and expertise enable us to develop customized energy storage systems that can help businesses and communities reduce energy costs, increase energy reliability, and support a more sustainable energy future. Ahsan Ullah Chowdhury

At helm of SREL management is Mr Ahsan Ullah Chowdhury as the Chief Executive Officer. A former Major of Bangladesh Army and Chief Operating Officer of Peoples Telecommunication and Information Services Ltd, he has over 35 years of experience in the telecommunication sector. Under his guidance; over 80 CDMA base stations and more than 250 PSTN exchanges were installed all over Bangladesh. Each of these exchanges and base stations consisted of battery banks and diesel power backup system. He is an expert in placement, maintenance and replacement cycle of standard lead acid batteries, sealed maintenance free batteries and dry cell batteries that were used in the telecommunication sector.
Shaniur T I M Nabi
Director
Leading the Research & Development is the Director of SREL, Mr Shaniur T I M Nabi. A dynamic engineer and entrepreneur with technical expertise in software development, telecommunication network management, security, optimisation and system integration. Experienced in planning, deploying and maintaining a nationwide PSTN network in Bangladesh. The network is a hybrid of traditional TDM network, base stations, soft switch, CDMA, Centrex and FTTH with a skilled workforce of 391 engineers, technicians and professionals. He has a double degree from RMIT University, Australia on Bachelor of Applied Science (Computer Science) and Bachelor of Engineering (Communication) with honours.
